In 2008, the Gamaliel Foundation (GF) had revenues of just under $3.4 million and net assets of more than
$1.7 million. That same year, the foundation made grants of nearly
$340,000 to its various affiliates. GF also spends considerable sums of
money each year on training programs designed to help communities
develop new organizations that eventually will become Gamaliel
affiliates. In 2006 and 2007, GF spent $1.9 million and $2.1 million, respectively, on such initiatives.
